The hare and the tortoise, by this time, had become pretty good friends and they did some thinking together. Both realised that the last race could have been run much better.
這下子，兔子和烏龜成了惺惺相惜的好朋友。它們一起檢討，兩個都很清楚，在上一次的比賽中，它們可以表現得更好。
So they decided to do the last race again, but to run as a team this time.
所以，他們決定再賽一場，但這次是同隊合作。
They started off, and this time the hare carried the tortoise till the riverbank. There, the tortoise took over and swam across with the hare on his back.
它們一起出發，這次可是兔子扛著烏龜，直到河邊。在那裡，烏龜接手，背著兔子過河。。
On the opposite bank, the hare again carried the tortoise and they reached the finishing line together. They both felt a greater sense of satisfaction than they'd felt earlier.
到了河對岸，兔子再次扛著烏龜，兩個一起抵達終點。比起前次，它們都感受到一種更大的成就感。
The moral of the story? It's good to be individually brilliant and to have strong core competencies; but unless you're able to work in a team and harness each other's core competencies, you'll always perform. below par because there will always be situations at which you'll do poorly and someone else does well.

Balance between quality and cost
Last day, I visited a supplier again for issue.
The supplier provided us a cable. The cable is very easy to produce. Cut a cable and clamp terminals on the both ends. But the clamping force is required strictly. The first delivery was rejected for the strength NG. And second time it was checked strength NG in our headquarter. HQ asked the supplier to renew a batch.
But the supplier won't do and always searches excuse. The supplier said the requirement was beyond the industry standards and it hoped we could provide supporting. I said of course we supported them. But the supplier is responsible for the problem and is active to think a solution.
One week ago, the supplier promised they would give a solution this Tuesday. But on Monday it didn't do anything except saying it was not the industry standard. I told the purchaser that we coundn't accept the excuse. it is not a problem of standard. We have express our requirement before releasing the PO. So fot the batch goods, the supplier must be responsible for giving a solution.
I remembered my fore-boss told me a word. Any problems in business can be solved by money. Yesterday I accompanyed purchaser to the supplier again. Arriving there, I directly went to the workshop. I told them to prepare some terminals and cable. I did the experiment with the supplier engineer and sales manager together. The result of the experiment indicated that the supplier could match the requirement if they used more strength to clamp terminals. Problem is that it spent the operators much more time and energy. And they won't buy a automatic claming machine for it. In another words, it won't spend more money on it.
Then we had a meeting. I confirmed the problem was not and industry standard one.It was a balance problem between cost and quality .The supplier should solve it soon.Our purchaser said directly. If the supplier couldn't solve it in technology.it should solve it in business.
Supplier had agreed with us and promised on this Friday it would give a saying. Anyway it should spend money on it.
It is too tired. But we hope it will keep its words this time.

Tonight, I learned the grouping principle of the Pyramid Principle. The grouping principle consists of three key practices, namely consistency, relevancy, and MECE (mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive). My teacher has told us that MECE is a way of organizing information and has been widely used at McKinsey Management Consulting. Since I don’t know much about MECE, I can’t but report more on this later.
Since I am deeply interested in learning more about the Pyramids Principle, I will work very hard until I completely understand. Later on I will share with you my learning experiences in this regard.

Wen Zhang has an affair outside his marriage is the headline of entertainment news. It is none of my business. However I feel disappointment, Maybe for love, maybe for nothing. In the workplace, effective communication is vital to help our team work well together. Therefore, it is important to establish a powerful communication system. Today, following are the four elements of successful communication that my teacher has taught.
①Know your audience
Before preparing a business communication, we must know your audience and what they want. This helps you choose the tone to meet the specific purpose of communication. For example, if your audiences have never known your industry, when you talk about your product, please avoid acronyms and special expressions. If you address an issue to your boss, don’t forget to give him evidence as well as your recommendations.
②Specify your objective
When you communicate with your audience, you must express your thought clearly. Since everybody has many things to do at work, you should avoid having them spend too much to guess what’s in your head.
③Formulate and support your message
If you want to convince your audience, all your analyses must be based upon adequate proof. Following the Four elements of the Pyramids Principle is a good idea.
④Determine your approach
Having completed the above three basic elements, you should be able to develop the best approach to deliver them.
In short, in order to prepare an effective communication at the workplace, following these four basic elements is essential.

Today I was glad to receive my textbooks from XX School. This means that I will have a tight schedule from April to July. In the meantime, in order to accomplish all I have planned, my disposable time only allows me to write diaries every other day instead of every day.
Though completing this course has been my dream, I feel headache when I face these tasks, the main problem is schedule. I know that life can be very busy and full of distractions. It is easy to lose focus and run around in circles rather than completing tasks that need to be done. In this situation, making personal schedule is very vital. In coming day, setting reasonable timetable is also one of my main tasks.

I pray for being able to reach my goals, I hope my dream can keep us motivated.

Today’s weather was very good, but I don’t know the reason why I felt down for the whole day. maybe I had slept too much in the afternoon.
Tonight, after having done my jogging, I saw a movie in company’s recreation center, but I have forgotten the name of film. It was a waste of my time. In fact, I had many things to do today, but just half of task was done. Unable to complete my scheduled work could be the reason that affected my feeling.
To face the new week tomorrow, before I went to bed tonight, I had tried to adjust myself to have a positive attitude. I won’t allow bad mood to affect my work. I heard that eating chocolate can make someone feel better, and many people may immediately reach for their favorite chocolate to make them more comfortable if they are feeling low. Obviously, this method isn’t acceptable for me, because I am a little overweight.

Now I feel too tired to resolve my bad mood. It is late and time to go to bed. Hope I will find a solution to this problem in my dream. Ha ha.

I have lived in pain for some time. Once something has gone in my life, can never come again. Now what I need to do is forgetting the pass and walking away from it, Giving a chance to myself ensure to live my new life.
I still have a long list of trouble I must go through before I am reaching my goals.
The more difficulty I have gone through, the stronger my heart will be. Being clear about what is worth doing, sticking to it and don’t give up the goals, are the ways to help me stay productive in my life.

In today’s diary, I ‘d like to share some ‘gossips’ about ‘Her 18 unspeakable secrets’ written in You Dao reading materials.
Regarding this article’s views, to a certain degree I agree. For example, one of the views is “women especially love a bargain”. As far as I am concerned, in the past, when I went shopping for clothes at my favorite stores, if the dresses that I like were on sale, I would buy them. Honestly, I have no problem to resist eating junk foods, but I couldn’t face the temptation of not buying beautiful clothes. In recent years, I had been doing this kind of shopping almost every week. Though I hadn’t used up all I made by the end of every month, at least half of it was spent on clothes and skincare products. From the beginning of this year, in order to buy my parents more presents, I go shopping once a month instead of every week.
The other view mentioned in these articles was “Women do not know anything about cars…”which I totally agree. I am a patient of motion sickness. Thus, I never want to learn driving. And, I can’t tell the difference of one car’s name brands form another car’s. As I recall, during the Spring Festival recess, my cousin drove me to the airport. At home, when my father asked me about the name brand of cousin’s car brand; sadly, I know nothing about that at all.

Recently, the desire for having on a trip has been stronger and stronger because I want to forget something breaking my heart and making my life full of pain. Therefore, I have by sport shoes online to prepare for the trip on this weekend.
In these two days, I created a list every morning, which ensured I know exactly what I need to do very day. To be honest, I really afraid that I can’t finish my work because of the bad mood. For now, it revealed that what I have done was right.
To my surprise, some things made me feel good today. For example, a customer praised me that my speaking English is better than the other colleague.

Two express delivery in my husband has been stolen the day before yesterday, my husband will compensate for money to customer. today Two Internship engineer come in quality department, we are introduce myself when the new colleague coming in tradition, I introduce myself and teach them quality theory knowledge times after time. I feel bored. Therefore assistant told me the teach time, I didn’t say a word. Perhaps my attitude is wrong, I worked at there almost six years. life and work are repeat day after day. How to change the status quo? I don’t know, who can tell my? I need sunshine into my dark world.

In today’s daily production meeting, there was an episode happened during the discussion.
Assume one of your colleagues refuses to cooperate with you, and you are so disturbed with his attitude. In this situation, do you lose your temper?
In my opinion, keeping your temper in check can be challenging at work. In quality management, we often face different types of people when, and it is easy to lose our temper, especially when people are making trouble deliberately.
I believe many of us on this 6SQ website have lots of experiences in quality management; could you share some of yours with us? They could be very useful.

Please make time to keep contact with you good friends usually ,it is not because that they can give you a hand when you are in trouble, but can listen to us when we are feeling down.
The calls from my roommate and friends in my college yesterday made me feel very happy because it reflected that we care about each other all the time in spite of we haven’t worked in the same place. What is the most important, I have much things make me feel upset recently, I can bleat about my depression and share my thoughts with them. In the recent days, I have been busily engaged to deal with incoming material problems and at the same time I was required to develop passing standards of new materials. It was a hard struggle, but thank God, I finally finished the work. With management’s approval of this document, I held a meeting this evening to train QC girls to ensure that they will pay special attention to all new incoming materials from now on.
March is our peak production season; everyone has a lot of work to do, and my workload has been doubled. Likewise, we all are much stressed out, both mentally and physically. Seeking relief, last night I was told me by my yoga teacher that practicing meditation might help. In order to achieve good attitude and good spirit during the day, from tonight, I will spend the minutes every night to practice meditation before going to bed. She also told me that if I can sustain this exercise as a habit, I will be a happy person.

Today was another busy day for me, tons of work that drove me crazy. Luckily, I had my yoga lesson tonight, which eventually helped me relax afterward.
This morning, I presented my QA Weekly report during the production daily meeting, I used this opportunity to inform my management regarding quality problem associated with the XX series product that we experienced last week, and I consequently advised engineer of XX department to pay specially attention to the zz procedure in the coming weeks. Arguably, engineer cc again blamed that my QC girls’ inspection speed to be too slow to catch the defective products being produced. This accusation made me angry. Gladly, all managers attending this meeting disagreed with what he said. It is clear to all of us that we are facing the peak production season; and the quality of all our products need to be ensured.
In the afternoon, a training supervisor of HR department asked me submitting annual training plan issue. She recommended me to attend SPC lesson, but I am not willing to register for this course; I prefer to learn something else instead. Based on your experience, my dear 6SQ friends, what are the best valued courses in quality management that I should take as a quality supervisor? The charge is less than RMB3, 000.

When I heard that Malaysia Airlines flight carrying 239 people from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing lost contact with traffic controllers, I felt very sad. Today, according to the news, more than two hundreds travelers from 13 nationalities were onboard. Hope miracle can happen. Let’s pray for them.
I was further saddened when I saw the video that families and friends of those missing on the flight were waiting in a hotel for latest information concerning them. Looking at their helpless eyes, my heart was broken. One woman wailed for her missing son as she was led inside. "My son was only 40 years old," she cried. "My son, My son. What am I going to do?"

Until now, nobody knows exactly what happened to this Malaysia Airlines’ plane that disappeared. Friends, let us pray for these 239 people, wishing them live in peace in a different world.

It will be a month long from I get start using English to keep a diary. According to the plan I made last month, it is time to practice English listening.
My dear friend Ting told me that it is much helpful for me in English to watch the TV play called “Friends”. Although I prefer to learn business English that is related to my job,it can be had a try for some times. The most difficult to improve our English, I think it is to insist to make time for learning English after work every day. To be honest, I have failed to do so because of the time I spend on TV and games every night.
The more you care, the more you get. In order to improve my English ability, I will take my plan more serious than before and insist it out. The time flies, I must have to make progress in English, I really don’t want to stay where I am now and waste my spare time on playing.

About this new material, following successful test runs, it was accepted for future production. After the meeting, I started to update IQC control plan. The new procedure requires QA to pay special attentions to new material for at least three months.

Today, the CEO of our parent Company arrived to visit Huizhou’s production line in this afternoon; Last Thursday, all departments were asked to get ready for his coming. In the morning, in order to ensure that everything step was running smoothly, I made the rounds of our production lines immediately after the production daily meeting. The area was clean and tidy. Clearly, we have done 5S well.
In our clean rooms (production area), production and protection of electronic chips mandates a super clean environment. Anyone entering the clean room facility must put on a hood and a face veil and wear ESD shoes. The face veil must be large enough to cover the entire mouth. To ensure that these rules are strictly followed, everyday, one of our engineers is assigned as the security guard to closely monitor people’s in and out of each lean room. This engineer is responsible to report all violations during the daily production meeting. Though our management is more human in treating our employees, violators of clean room’s rules will be severely punished by their supervisors.
Preparing a weekly report for the Tuesday’s meeting was my today's work, though all product’s yield are higher than their production goals, to prevent previous problems associated with the XX product from happening again, I have instructed QC girls to pay special attention during sampling of the XX Product.

Starting today, if we want to make our learning process more effective, setting up a timetable and stick to it is the best policy. If you end up watching TV or playing the games then you should change.
Secondly, in the spare time, we need to find a quiet place to study. We all know how hard it is to study in an area full of noise and distractions, not to mention effectiveness.
Avoid interruptions. During studying, when a friend calls and asks us out to lunch or for movies, we should say no. Besides, if you stay home to study, don’t forget to lock the door. For example, if your hear neighbors knock on your door, don’t answer it; otherwise, you can’t concentrate on studies.

Yesterday, my colleague had an argument with my director about how to deal with the conflict in our work. We don’t know what happened to my colleague ( call him A) in detail, perhaps my director didn’t hope that A lose our respect for telling us about that. However, in yesterday meeting, A didn’t control himself and told his conflict with R&D personnel to us.
In QA department, we have much pressure coming from our customer complains, we need to do experiments to make the product problems recur and ask the R&D personnel to analyze this problems. After that, providing the corrective measures to customers and explaining it face to face or using our email are the most important.
In the steps above, the more pressure, the more easily we come into conflict.
My director said it is no need to know who is really right or wrong, just put the project first. But A disagreed with him and believed that it will happen in other colleagues if we don’t take it seriously. What is important, he make a list of thoughts he had before and ask we some questions, for example, “ are you making sure that you can reach your goals in this way?”, which have made other colleagues thinks a lot.

Today is the last day of work in February; though everything ran smoothly at work, much time could be saved if better managed. I must be more careful when doing my planning.
In this month, we had less than usual memory Chips to produce due to America’s bad weather, which resulted in delayed delivery of necessary electronic parts. But starting March 3, everything will go back to normal. And all departments need to be prepared for the coming peak production season,
For my department, one of my QC girls A resigned last week. Her replacement B was scheduled to be trained starting this week. However, unfortunately, the other girl C just requested a personal leave to return home for two weeks beginning March 3 due to personal reasons. Though it’s OK for me to rearrange work for March, I need to have my department fully staff during the busiest season.
Based on our company’s training SOP, all new staff of Production department must be trained for at least two months. During the training period, new operators are not allowed to operate their machines alone without being closely monitored by their Training Technicians. After the training, they become qualified operators. My department is no exception, all QC girls are required to be trained by ME department Training Technicians. They will not receive certification until their work is 100% verified.

Theme: The aim of learning English
English, now a global language, has become more and more important in international communication. Especially in the modern day society, regardless of the type of business you are in, if you have a good level of English skills, you will have better opportunity to gain more information from your foreign friends and colleagues. Good English pushes your career forward, indeed.
For me, I work as a quality supervisor in the XX Company; where, ability in English is very important. In the recent years, I have taken a number of English classes at XX institute, these courses include BEC preliminary, BEC vantage and so on; nevertheless, some of them were way over my head. In the current company, I really cherish this job. If I can do better in reading, writing and speaking English, I would have the opportunity to earn more money. So far, sadly to say, though I have been studying English for three years, I don’t think I have made much progress in either English or my career.
About learning English, I once got so discouraged and almost gave up, because it was too hard to learn. However, when I thought about my older parents and I am the only child in the family, I decided to continue working hard so as to give them a better life in the future. Thus, I determined not to quit learning English as long as I work for the XX Company.
In order to improve my English, I have followed my teacher’s advice to write diaries starting this year. Though every day it takes me more than 90 minutes to finish my writing using sample sentences shown in Youdao dictionary, I endure. I believe my teachers told me the old sayings that, “We take on this challenge, not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard”, “Constant dripping wears away a stone”.
My dear 6SQ friends, for fun and a better life, let’s work hard together!

After a whole day’s work, we often feel very exhausted. For some people, when work stress rises, they lose their temper. In this age of intense competition, we all face different challenges in our work and various problems in life; in that way, to improve our quality of life, how should we balance our work and free time?
In my opinion, three things are of great importance to keep our work-life balanced.
First, having good work arrangement is important. At work, we should handle all affairs according to its priority. As a result, if we can manage our work well, we will have more time left to handle personal matters.
Secondly, engaging friends each week to have fun and relax will make sure we are not weighed down by overwork. If we have enough time to communicate with our friends, we will achieve a better balance between work and life.
Finally, I highly recommend everyone to workout daily. Sports are good for our health. We must have a healthy body, if we want to achieve our dreams.
To sum up, the aforementioned three suggestions have helped me keep a better balance between work and life.

After lunch, I went to Huizhou to attend the new school year ceremony. Approximately five hundred people were there to attend this activity. However, they gave us notice that we had to arrive at the school before 1:30 PM, but the meeting was delayed for two hours due to the traffic jam. As the chairperson, there wasn't any good programs arranged, we felt very bored within two hours, and the atmosphere looked a bit awkward.
A number of speeches were given by invited leaders; the central theme of this ceremony was to tell us never giving up learning. Life is a living and learns the process; everyone should have his or her goals and must work hard for this plan to read what we need, day after day, and constant dripping wears away a stone

Above all, that’s the message they wanted to send out to every student and is the theme of this event.

After lunch, I went to Huizhou to attend the new school year ceremony. Approximately five hundred people were there to attend this activity. However, they gave us notice that we had to arrive at the school before 1:30 PM, but the meeting was delayed for two hours due to the traffic jam. As the chairperson, there wasn't any good programs arranged, we felt very bored within two hours, and the atmosphere looked a bit awkward.
A number of speeches were given by invited leaders; the central theme of this ceremony was to tell us never giving up learning. Life is a living and learns the process; everyone should have his or her goals and must work hard for this plan to read what we need, day after day, and constant dripping wears away a stone

Above all, that’s the message they wanted to send out to every student and is the theme of this event.

It was sunny today for the whole day, weather finally turned into a nice day. Cinderella’s mood is getting much better, even I was very tired, and I managed to keep my chin up.
After breakfast, I went to work earlier than usual; the first thing to do still was to check QA dairy report from the night shift’s data. As indicated in the XX Yield trend chart, XX product’s Yield was higher more than its current target of 98.5 percent and approaching the goal of 100 percent.
Recently, in order to decrease the number of complaints from customer, our QA has been working closely with ME engineers to improve the XX process so as to enhance the quality of these XX series products. This joined team effort has resulted in significant improvement in the yield of XX product.
Today, selected from several applicants, I hired a new QC girl whose background and experience fit our needs. From next week, OJT Trainer will be responsible for training her according to the SOP. In the first week, I will do the best to make her feel as comfortable as at home.

It is a quiet and simple day, there is nothing made me fell upset, I just need to check some emails, make notes and learn something I like. In my free time, I always like to have a cup of coffee and read newspaper, which makes me feel peaceful.
For my job, when the goods will sent out of our company, I work as gate keeper to know the level of product quality. If the products sent to customer have some errors and OQA check them out, we will ask project manager, to arrange meeting for analyzing the problem before batch production is conducted.
We need to make full use of our time when we are free.

These days, I have lost a lot of sleep, perhaps because I am often stressed out after a day’s work. Weather is also wet and bitter cold. Besides, high humidity has made me uncomfortable.
Today is Wednesday. Like any other day of the week, I had another busy day of work. Since one of my QC girls has resigned, I need to recruit a replacement as quickly as possible. Though there have been several applicants, so far I haven’t found the one whose qualification fits our needs. During the interviews, a few were dismissed immediately because of their fickle attitude. I understand that not many applicants would like to do eye-straining inspection work under microscopes.
About hiring staff, in the recent years, it was difficult to recruit new staff, despite many companies offer five one insurance fund and other benefits. Comparison with surrounding companies, we could control the lower turnover rate last year. One good reason could be that our management is more humane than others. Especially to the new comers, for example, we have established an SOP to pay special attention to our new hires’ well-being, from the day of their orientation throughout their lives with the company. The only disadvantage is that the factory was built in the suburb, and the traffic is not convenient.

After work, jogging in the gym is my routine workout. Inside the gym, I often meet several foreigners, but I just have a nodding acquaintance with them. From time to time, I want to greet them and chat more in English, however, sadly, my poor English has failed me to open my mouth.
