# Business Topic: How to be a good manager?

Assume you are promoted to be a manager somewhere someday. Do you know how to do a good job? Dear 6SQ friends, would you like to share your views with us?

By reading books, I agree with the following opinions.

First, having a strong sense of responsibility is very important. It must be known that authority comes with responsibility and accountability. That is, when you become a manger to lead your team, you will bear the responsibility to meet all internal and external requirements to succeed. If failed, you are accountable. However, if you focus on the performance of the individual the needs of the team go unnoticed, not to mention moving to the next step, which is to motivate your employees. Usually, having a good work ethic is highly recommended for becoming a good manager.

The third rule is to expect the best from your team. As a manager, you should believe that your team could exceed your expectations. Keep training your team members as needed so that you can have the best performance.

Always embrace the last trip—plan for disaster. Please do discuss the worst-case scenarios with your team. For example, if one of your employees quits, finding a replacement as soon as possible will be inevitable for you.

In conclusion, if you are lucky enough to be a good manager, please remember to plan for disaster and train your employees, because these four pieces of experience are vital as a manager.
