A letter that will never be sent out

I write this letter in my working time, so I have to pretend to do work. That’s why I choose the English to write, not for the showing of my English ability. And if you spend your time to review, you will know why this letter can’t be sent out.

It is my pleasure that you read my letter.

I have been here in this company for about 4 years since June 2005, except one year break in 2009 when our company bankrupted and restructured. I passed Certificate Quality Engineer vantage in 2009, and took part in SSBB held by CQA and BEC Vantage test in 2010. I did all these efforts just wanted to develop my ability and contribute more effort in our company.

But the fact is not so good as I estimated. There are so many words I want to pour out.

At first, I would like to say, with all due respect, I am very disappointed with what you and your group have done in the past year. As we all know, after suffering this enormous change in our company, no matter senior staff or junior staff, both of them are full of fear, suspicion, and with low morale. You and your group came with the arrangement of SASAC, did nothing essence but organized football/basketball/table tennis/lecture competitions, and then waited for the order from your superior. Come on, is our plant college association? Time passing, rumors flowed over, everyone felt unrestful. Staff turnover was high at that time which can prove what I said.

Second, I would like to say, you and your group didn’t know how to manage a modern plant efficiently. In our section, I admit that market, manufacture and maintance are the focuses. Any others are secondary. But it doesn’t mean, the technology and quality of steel are secondary. Our product in the market is with low appraisal due to our high price and low quality. Our board also knows this fact, says that our company produces the second-rate product with the first-rate equipment. Why can’t we improve this situation? Please look at our daily work in technology department. What we all do and all the efforts are just maintance the plant to run fluently. No improve efforts or no efficient improvement are showed in our plant. We still rest on arguing why this happen, why that happen, and who have to take the responsibility. Kicking the ball is the most work in our inner meeting. Who has a loud voice or who has a hard support could not solve any problem but leads us to chaos and confusion.

On top of that, I know you are governors, having hard background, can just sit here doing nothing with high salaries. But we are not, we come here to work not to kill time. Maybe I shall not put too many hopes on you. It’s my fault.
