The technic of Nitrocarburizing

The technic of Nitrocarburizing I don't konw Nitrocarburizing before,but when i get the infomation from supplier I begin to focus on it.as the drawing,the surface treatment requirement is salt-bath sulfur nirtrocarburizing and anodizing,but the supplier told us it's hardly to put in effect for carbon steel.So we talk with our technic department,and the expert told us it's a translation mistake,it's not anodizing but oxydation. so we find the GB,it's true there should be a oxydation after salt-bath sulfur nitrocarburizing,the oxydation may be in air,water,oil or oxydizing bath. We are so happy we get the way to solve this problem.But another thing occur,there are not salt-bath sulfur nitrocarburizing in this area but only gas nitrocarburizing.but there are not element of sulfur in gas nitrocarburizing.so we talked with the expert in technic department,he find the drawing virsion of German and English,and it's right.we don't know German virsion but we know english virsion,in english virsion ,it is salt-bath nitrocarburizing not salt-bath sulfur nitrocarburizing.So we asked the translator an execuse,he told us ,when they translated this drawing,they find that there isn't a criteria for the salt-bath nitrocarburizing in GB(GUOBIAO),but only salt-bath sulfer nitrocarburizing ,so they reference this document.at last,the expert agree to use gas nitrocarburizing instead of salt-bath sulfer nitrocarburizing,but he required there should be a oxydation after gas nitrocarburizing. But according to the perior experience,there aren't oxydation after gas nitrocarburizing,and we don't konw the meaning of oxydation.reference the salt-bath sulfer nitrocarburizing of GB,there will be a cooling process after nitrocarburizing,the cooling process is a process to put the parts into air,water,oil or oxidizing bath for cooling,and this is the process of oxydizition.So we can conclude that the oxydation of gas nitrocarburizing is the same too.that's mean after nitrocarburizing ,put the parts in air,water,oil or oxidizing bath for oxydation.the process of cooling is the process of oxydation.
