I was humbled by receiving a couple of comments from my 6SQ friends that I should have passed the CET4 or even CET6 exams. To be honest, I am frightened to take these exams, because they are too hard for me to pass. If my English level is as well as they said, I will pay more attention to the relevant technique knowledge, and I might not get to spend as much time studying it.
I have to admit that writing diaries has helped me improve my English; I learn when I look up new words and sentences in You Dao Dictionary and write my diary according my teacher’s instructions. In the meantime, I have learned a lot. Every night I spend at least ninety minutes to write my diary before going to bed. Then, I give my diary and extensive review in the morning. Even so, I often found my writing awkward and failed to find better words to improve. Studying English is indeed an endless journey.
Knowing my English is not good, to improve, I have decided to take New Concept English 1 lessons beginning on March 8. I should be able to finish this class in three months. Though I have studied English for more than three years, there had been those courses that were way over my head. A solid review of the basics can greatly improve my communication skills in the long run,
Studying English is a painful experience. It takes time and a lot of effort. With heavy work load during the day, it is easy to procrastinate at night. I write diaries at 6SQ so as to force me to stick to my study plan. To sum up, though we will go through a period of hard time in the beginning, handsome rewards are out there waiting for us.
