First to compare the old system and new one and find difference.
Second check the company's actual status, including the capability of company's technology; caliber of employees and complexity of product.
Third based on what your comparation between old and new system and company's actual status to pull new better system to implement to company.
Fourth from time to time to verify new implemented system and improve it if possible and needed.
