偶要求加薪的信(update, 欢迎批评)

I’m unsatisfied with my salary. I want a pay rise. This is why I think I deserve this rise:**

Market analysis:
It’s March and April. It’s job-hunting season. A lot of companies are searching for QA practitioners and a lot of QA practitioners are looking for employment.

Benchmarking:
① QA competence: Most companies that install TS system hire a consultant. I can install the system without a consultant.
② English: There is no doubt my English is better, compared with most of the TS system installers you would see in the market.
③ Payment: In the market, a TS system installer usually costs 4000 ~5000 Yuan a month. I was paid far less.

Swot analysis:
(Appraising the option that I stay and this company won’t recruit a new system installer)
Strengths:
① The company can save the money for hiring a consultant.
② Good communication: Better English to deal with customer and headquarter’s request.
③ Employees can learn to use QC tools from me. I helped others to use MSA, SPC in the past.
④ Procedure optimization: I optimized our QMS procedures. UL mentioned this in their surveillance audit report.
⑤ Continual improvement: I proposed several improvement suggestions, such as TPM system, employee performance appraisal system, quality cost accounting system.
⑥ Favorable customer opinion: Customer A has praised my professionalism.
⑦ More opportunities to improve the system: I read many standards that are relevant to the system.
⑧ Prompt solutions to problems: I understand our system and our industry better than new comers.
Weaknesses:
① My salary might be a littler higher than the one you would get in the market.
② I am not good at building personal relationship as some other people, if you think this is an advantage to the company.
Opportunities:① There is a good chance to get ISO14001 registration this year.
② There is a good chance to get TS 16949 registration next year.
Threats:
No.

Swot analysis:
(Appraising the option that I leave and this company will recruit a new system installer)
Strengths:
① Low payment: You might get a TS installer at a price of 3500Yuan, but the quality will not be good. You might get a good installer at a price of 4000 Yuan, and his TS knowledge is as good as mine.
② New comers tend to learn and adjust, so the new system installer might be as vocal as me.
Weaknesses:
① Money: You need to spend resources (money and time) to find a proper candidate.
② Money: There is a good chance that you will need to hire a consultant, and hiring a consultant is not cheap.
③ Time: A new system installer will need some time to understand our system and our industry, and this will delay our schedule.
④ Communication barricade: Most system installers don’t have good English skills, so the chances are high.
⑤ The mode a consultant introduced may not suit our need. For business’ sake, a consultant naturally wants to introduce a general formula to maximize their profit.
⑥ The new system installers may not have good understanding of the QC tools or may be unwilling to help others.
⑦ The new system installer may not optimize our system or propose improvement suggestions which is the fundamental of modern management.
⑧ Customer opinion: Because of the above mentioned problems, customers might drop their favorable opinion.
Opportunities:
① There is a good chance to get ISO14001 registration this year.
② There is a good chance to get TS16949 registration next year.
③ the company may be able to reshape a system installer from the start.
Threats:
① low professionalism and delayed schedule may lower customer confidence.

I want my basic salary rise to 4500Yuan per month. Otherwise I would not stay.

which city are you stay in? maybe there is a gap in diffirent area,
I think it is not high for the position if you work in Suzhou,
even you can set target near 10K if you stay in Shanghai.
