IP stands for 'Ingress Protection'
An IP number is used to specify the environmental protection of enclosures
around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific
tests.
The IP number is composed of two numbers, the first referring to the
protection against solid objects and the second against liquids. The
higher the number, the better the protection.
Note: All Aceeca devices are manufactured and tested to IP67 standards.
First Number
0- No protection (Sometimes X)
1- Protected against solid objects up to 50mm?
2- Protected against solid objects up to 12mm?
3- Protected against solid objects up to 2.5mm?
4- Protected against solid objects up to 1mm?
5- Protected against dust, limited ingress (no harmful deposit)
6- Totally protected against dust

1- Protection against vertically falling drops of water (e.g. condensation)
2- Protection against direct sprays of water up to 15 degrees from vertical
3- Protection against direct sprays of water up to 60 degrees from vertical
4- Protection against water sprayed from all directions - limited ingress permitted
5- Protected against low pressure jets of water from all directions - limited ingress permitted
6- Protected against low pressure jets of water, limited ingress permitted (e.g. ship deck)
7- Protected against the effect of immersion between 15cm and 1m
8- Protected against long periods of immersion under pressure

0 无 防 护 没有专门的防护
1 防护大于50mm的固体 能防止直径大于50mm的固体异物进入壳内,能防
止人体的某一部分(如手)偶然或意外地触及壳内
带电部分,但不能防止有意地接近这些部分。
2 防护大于12mm的固体 能防止直径大于12mm的固体异物进入壳内,能防
止手指触及壳内带电或运动部分。
3 防护大于2.5mm的固体 能防止直径大于2.5mm的固体异物进入壳内,能防
止厚度或直径大于2.5mm的工具、金属线等触及壳
内带电或运动部分。
4 防护大于1mm的固体 能防止直径大于1mm的固体异物进入壳内,能防止
厚度大于mm的工具、金属线等触及壳内带电或运
动部分。
5 防 尘 能防止灰尘进入达到影响电器设备正常运行的程
度,完全防止初级壳内带电或运动部分。
6 尘 密 完全防止灰尘进入壳内,完全防止初级壳内带电
或运动部分。
防止液体进入内部的防护等级(第二位特征数字所表示的防护等级)

1 防 滴 垂直的滴水应不能直接进入电器设备的内部;
2 15度防滴 与铅垂线成15度角范围内的滴水,应不能直接进入电器设
备内部;
3 防淋雨 与铅垂线成60度角范围内的淋水,应不能直接进入电器设
备内部;
4 防 溅 任何方向的溅水对电器设备应无有害的影响;
5 防 喷 任何方向的喷水对电器设备应无有害的影响;
6 防海浪或强力喷水 猛烈的海浪或强力喷水对电器设备应无有害的影响
7 浸 水 电器设备在规定的压力和时间下浸在水中,进水量应无有害的
影响。
8 潜 水 电器设备在规定的压力下长时间浸在水中,进水量应无有害的
影响。
