My English training course started yesterday. At the beginning, I thought I could be a huge setback in my learning process that my favorite teacher has to leave for home in the U.S. this month. However, surprisingly, her replacement is also from the U.S. and was one of my favorite teachers last year. In the class, he patiently corrected our pronunciation of many difficult words. All the students were very attentive, deeply interested and showed strong enthusiasm for the class. We practiced and practiced, three hours passed quickly. Besides, unlike other teachers, he wouldn't want us to call him “teacher”. He wants to be one of us, a friend, helping us improve our English.

After the class I went shopping, I love beautiful clothes and cherish the old Chinese saying that “everyone has his or her heart in beautiful things”. But, for practical and economic reasons, window shopping has often been a comforting alternative.
