how to identify FPC golden finger scratch and crack?

hi everybody
i face a puzzle, how to identify the FPC scratch and crack? i cant separate these two only by cosmetic checking. and i dont know whether the golden plating cosmetic fail can caused copper trace fail.

who can provide some training data of FPC process and control points
and how to improve the FPC cosmetic defect?
