Modern QFD
There are many problems and pitfalls associated with the traditional QFD. Starting with "gemba visits", Modern QFD (or Blitz QFD) offers a much improved approach. Glenn Mazur is a leading authority in QFD in the U.S. You may want to check out his website at www.mazur.net for publications. In doing Modern QFD, you must be familiar with the Kano model and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process).
