I was scolded by leader! I am angry!

天气: 晴朗心情: 生气 This morning, I received an e-mail from the Chief Supervisor of Market, the e-mail was also cc to many relative managers. He scolded me strictly because he thought that the e-mail that I sent to our key customer was too directly, too rude. The e-mail is attached:
“So far, the three items marked yellow have completed before already, we can send the test report follow our company's release procedure. But I'm afraid we can't provide the report referring the four items marked red. The reasons are:
1、There is no power supply in the module, and no voltage convert in it. The module only provides a connector which connects to the customer's PCBA.
2、The customer’s PCBA provide 5V DC to the module, and control the module. So the module can be treated as a passive component for customers’ system.
3、The module contains only two kinds of optical-electrical components inside. They don’t refer to EMI/Grounding/Surge Protection tests also.
4、There is no sense in doing electrical reliability test on gain block only, generally it be tested with customer’s system together.
5、EMI/Grounding/Surge Protection tests often focus on the products that contain AC supply or voltage convert.
So, I suppose for these five type of gain block, there is no need to pass these 4 electrical reliability tests”

I’m annoyed, because he misunderstood the situation totally. He doesn’t have the right to scold me, I’m not his underling.
Firstly, I sent this e-mail to sales department on 9.25, I didn’t send it to customer directly. It was just an internal communication. I just explained the reasons in professional view. Contacting customers is not my business.
Secondly, our customer had already agreed with my view point, they sent a e-mail to me “No problem. I am happy to clarify things。。。。。。。”
I’m really angry about the way the supervisor dealing with problems.
