PURPOSE

? Quality Planning of Factory Audits for Kenwood, Delonghi and Ariete aligned with Kenwood UK and HK factory planning
? Assist with New factory auditing for Delonghi group.
? Regular reviews with all factories to improve their performances and understanding of quality management systems.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Quality assurance planning of factory audits for regular yearly audits to be carried out.
2. Regular factory audit reviews with suppliers for continual improvements and targets
3. Reduce the number of non-conformances issues raised in factory audits
4. Work with suppliers on all supplier developments for improvements working with external companies to assist.
5. Quality assurance trouble shooting and communicating to other QAA members for improvements to be made through the CAR systems.


TASKS

1. Factory auditing planning
2. Understand factory improvements and set targets for continual improvements.
3. Understand Quality management systems to improve suppliers
4. Have an understanding of all factory, systems and quality management systems.
5. Implementation of best manufacturing practice during factory auditing and reviews
6. Supplier liaison and development
7. Work closely with QAA engineers, HK purchasing team and UK quality teams for regular updates and targets to be achieved for each supplier
8. Problem solving whilst carrying out audits for continual improvements
9. Report writing and issuing of factory audit reports.
10. Recording and maintaining records as applicable and set up improvement target programs for each supplier.

1. Lap Top Computer and office equipment as required by the role.
2. Broadband dongle for email and internet access.
3. Electrical and mechanical test equipment as required by the role.
4. Mechanical and electrical tooling as required by the role.

KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

1. Good English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking and written skills.
2. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Qualification (ONC).
3. Qualified in factory auditing with minimum of 3 years experience.
4. Experience in quality, design or development role (preferably with household electro-mechanical products).
5. Knowledge of current European household appliance standards and applicable Environmental Legislation.
6. Basic management skills.
7. Computer literate.
8. Able to work under pressure.
9. Able to work with others.
10. Organised and disciplined approach to work.
