PIT和QCC有差别吗?

我之前在公司里设立了QCC,即QC小组,对工厂的项目进行改善.
如今,我司来了一个日本总监,一来就设立了PIT(项目改善小组),将我之前的一套全部否定,其实也是换汤不换药.
请问大家有接触这方面吗?它们两者之间有区别吗?

QCC -- quality control circle

It is created in Japan and introduced to China. The model is Bottom -- Top ( 自下而上). It si mainly focuisng on small item --- easy to be solved through minor efforts, no need big investments. If the project is big, QCC organization is not good for it.

Regarding PIT --- lokks ( project improvement team )
I am gussing that should be for big item -- need more effort and investment. As his position is director, it should be Top -- Bottom model (自上而下). It is similar to 6-sigma project.

Generally speaking, there are not in conflict , just complements of each other. If you can identify the difference that would be a good thing. You can learn the theory and concept , later you can compare it.
