· Reading: all points inside control limits with no abnormal pattern (out of limits / 9-in-a-row on one side / 6-in-a-row monotonic) → gauge is stable; drift beyond limits → check environment, master wear, whether recalibration is needed
· Together with Bias/Linearity (Type 1) and Gage R&R, it forms the four AIAG MSA variable-type studies.
